Tahoe Junior Freeride Series – Sugar Bowl 2014
We were lucky enough to be asked to judge the contest at Sugar Bowl Resort on March 8th & 9th 2014. Over the 2 days of skiing in spring like conditions (CA has had a tough year for snow), some of the ebst skiing of the year went down over the weekend. Not only are the junior boys 15-18yrs old skiing like well rounded adults but the girls are charging the mountains like never before. If you ever get a chance to watch one of these events I would highly recommend it, you will be amazed what these young athletes can do.
A big shout out to some of the local coaches-Sean Carey, Trevor Tanhoff, Jason Dobbs and Eric Deslauriers for an incredible job! Congratulations to all the kids who competed, the families and everyone that help make this event happen.
