Lake Tahoe is the largest freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the 2nd deepest lake in the U.S. The mountains and ski areas around the lake rise to almost 11,000' with many ski resorts averaging over 500" inches of snow every year. With over a dozen ski resorts around the Truckee-Lake Tahoe area including Squaw Valley (home to the 1960 Olympics) and Sugar Bowl (1st ski lift in CA), our winter ski and snowboard adventure tours offer world class skiing around the resorts and backcountry of Tahoe.
Our Lake Tahoe adventure tours in the summer include mountain biking, road biking, hiking and stand up paddling in the crystal clear blue waters that surround the lake in the sky. There are 100's of miles of singletrack and road biking roads around the lake and Tahoe national forest that we can access right from our home base location in Truckee, CA. With over a dozen lakes including Lake Tahoe within a short drive of our offices, we can always find glassy water and great conditions for stand up paddling. The Pacific Crest Trail is within minutes of Truckee and offers some of the best scenic hikes in the Lake Tahoe area as well as having a deep history with the earlier settlers out west.
"There is a reason why we call the Truckee-Lake Tahoe area home and have built such a strong base in the local community. Experience this amazing location, history, culture and endless adventures with our professional guides and athletes."
